From our home in Aotearoa, New Zealand, each Honeysticks is crafted with care. That means choosing sustainably sourced waxes and ethically selected ingredients — including pure New Zealand beeswax from independent beekeepers we’ve built awesome relationships with over the years.

We think about the whole journey — from creation to scribble to storage and clean-up. All of our packaging is fully recyclable or reusable with a commitment to 0% virgin plastics.

Beeswax is nature’s leftover from the hive. Instead of letting it go to waste, we carefully collect, purify and shape it into non-toxic crayons for little hands.

The making of a Honeysticks crayon

Most crayons are made from paraffin wax which is the wax leftover when crude oils like petrol and diesel are refined.

Honeysticks Beeswax Crayons are made from pure beeswax, collected from hives and gently purified with minimal processing.
